Welcome to the realm of Aereth.
The WorldGaia is a world steeped in legend, lore, and magic. The continent of Aereth embodies all of these things. Much of the realm's knowledge has been lost over the thousands of millennia that Aereth has been settled.
The People of AerethThere are three racial classes (species) of humans on Aereth: Chimera, Stoneborn, and Menfolk. The racial classes and the races within each class are documented in the Codex.

The final chapter in While the Land Sleeps is open. Be care when setting up your posts because the prologue chapter for our next Chronicle is also open. We are moving most of the pre-written scenes that relate directly to the next chronicle there.
I am honestly too sick to think of ideas for my characters just yet. Give me most of this week and I'll try to put up some ideas or even get an open scene written and released.
-- 1st Month (January) 3551
Notes: 1st Month is the height of winter in the Highlands of Cymeria. Snow drifts can be several feet deep. Even with the military putting extra men to work to keep the roads clear, travel is difficult. Only a few hardy souls venture outside for very long at a time. Most activities are centered around hearth and home.
Types of scenes that might work in this chapter....
Hunting (boar, bison, deer, winter game birds).
Indoor activities such as singing, country dancing, quiet dinners.
Sparring, sword practice in the protected courtyards.
Working the horses in one of the two big indoor paddocks in the cavern stables.
These are only basic ideas to help everyone out.

Happy New Year!
All December (12th Month) posts need published by end of day January 2, 2018. I will leave the Light's Journey chapter open until then. After that, all in-game December scenes will have to be designated as flashbacks. Starting January 3, 2018, the final chapter of While the Land Sleeps will be opened (Winter's Bane).
From here until we complete While the Land Sleeps, we will do our best to get all posts done within 1 month of real time. We might not need all this time. We'll play that by ear.
12th Month (preferred) / December 3550: December 2017
1st Month (preferred) / January 3551: January 2018
2nd Month (preferred) / February 3551: February 2018
3rd Month (preferred) / March 3551: March 2018
4th Month (preferred) / April 3551: We should be able to launch the next Chronicle(s).

Good Morning World!
At least, good morning to this small corner of the world.
As most of you know, I took a week's LOA to focus on moving Aereth's wiki, which we call the Codex, to its new site. I bit off more than I could chew in one week's time and it became truly overwhelming. I have moved all the documents to the new Codex and saved them in draft form, but there's a massive amount of duplicated information, formatting, images to move and upload, etc. It will get done, but in smaller bites. I am going to attempt to do one document per day.
The section on Cymeria is complete except for the document pertaining to the Celts and the Wyr. I also need to add the Related Pages Links, but I think this might have to wait until all documents have been moved, edited, and published. There seems to be far more Cymerian documents than previously, but actually it's just that I broke some of the really huge sections out of the original document into smaller, easier to find and read pages of their own.
So, I am back and available for posting. I will probably spend today and tomorrow ridding my brain of the wiki cobwebs and then I'll try to think of a solo post or two - or an Open Scene.
Thanks for your patience with my absence this week!

The Lands & People section on Cymeria and the Cymry is now up at the new Aereth Codex (link can be found on the main menu at the Nova site).
There were slight changes for the Cymerian Guard - nothing major.
Images and Related Pages links have not been completed yet. However, the basic documents are there and ready to be read! I will probably not add images and related pages until I have moved the rest of the documents from the old Codex.

Reminder to All: Aereth's Codex = Aereth's Wiki
I completely blew up and crashed our Aereth Codex that was being built on a Wordpress site. No worries, however, I had not gotten far on the original one and have made good progress on the new one.
You can get to the new Codex via the link in the top menu or go HERE and bookmark it.
You can find the pages that have not been moved to our new Codex in our Google Shared Drive folder and at our old Codex website HERE.
